Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 –2 tablespoons butter or mayonnaise
  • 2 –3 slices cheese cheddar, American, or mozzarella

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
  • Spread butter or mayo on one side of each bread slice.
  • Place one slice butter-side down. Add cheese on top.
  • Top with the second slice butter-side up. Press gently.
  • Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 4 minutes. Flip and cook 2–3 more minutes until golden and melty.
  • Rest for 1 minute. Slice and serve.

Notes

Use mayo for extra crisp bread.
Add tomato, bacon, or herbs for more flavor.
Use dairy-free cheese and plant butter for a vegan option.
