Ingredients
  

  • Filling:
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease baking dish.
  • Mix strawberries with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla.
  • Pour filling into baking dish.
  • Mix topping ingredients and cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle topping over strawberries.
  • Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Cool 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use cold butter for a crisp topping.
