  • 1 lb Basa fillets about 4-6 fillets
  • 1 large lemon zest and slices
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter or olive oil for a lighter version
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional seasonings:
  • Thyme or dill for extra flavor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Set the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the Fish: Pat the Basa fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Make the Lemon Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant. Stir in the lemon zest and mix well.
  • Prepare the Baking Dish: Slice the lemon and layer the slices in the bottom of a baking dish.
