Ingredients
  

  • For the crumble:
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the filling:
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Add melted butter and vanilla. Stir until crumbly.
  • Press ⅔ of the mixture firmly into the pan to form the base.
  • In another bowl, mix strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
  • Spread the strawberry filling evenly over the base.
  • Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor
If using frozen strawberries, thaw and drain well
Do not skip cooling time before slicing
Press the base firmly so bars hold together
